Hanamaruken Ramen
Ramen Restaurants Quezon City, Quezon City
4.5
The Signature Happiness Ramen is made from soy sauce pork bone soup, which is carefully and slowly stewed. This item is very popular and highly recommended. If it’s your first time in Hanamaruken, it’s a must to order this ramen.

Hanamaruken is best known for their Happiness Ramen. This bowl of ramen has a huge piece of soft, tender, delicious pork rib.
Not only is the pork rib good, but the tonkotsu broth is also excellent!
The restaurant has nice little details around which gives it a modern japanese feel.
Service meets the typical quality or expectation.
And price is typical for a good bowl of ramen.
I highly suggest the happiness ramen to pork lovers!

I ordered one of their best selling ramen, Pot Belly Ramen and it taste really good. I've never been wondered why Hanamuraken is one of the Top best ramen in metro manila. I also order their gyoza which is also good. If you want to heat up your day with a very hot soup you should try the Hanamuraken Ramen.

I ordered Curry Tan Tan Mien and found it okay. It didn't feel special, though. Maybe I should've went for their Signature Happiness Ramen, their best-seller. Their gyoza is so-so, too.
Their best point is the place itself. The interior is really, really nice
I'm not so sure if I will go back here, seeing that I already have my #1 ramen place (Ramen Nagi)

My partner loves ramen. As a way to thank him for my planning my surprise birthday bash this week, I decided to take him to Hanamaruken at The Grove by Rockwell. I've heard so much about the place, and rightly so. There was something homey about their bowl of ramen. The soup was neither too watery nor too rich, and the flavors were clean, simple and straight to the point. The egg noodles were the slightly thicker, softer kind. Their ramen has a more authentic, less commercialized taste and was something one could eat on a daily basis.
We didn't get to try their signature Happiness Ramen (PHP 480), because we were fixated on the Spicy Tobanjan (PHP 300) and the Curry Tan Tan Mien (PHP 320), and we loved both of them.

Note: I ate at their The Grove branch.
Great food, nice place! The broth of their ramen is really flavorful! Each serving is a bit pricey, but good for sharing! I was also amazed by the softness of the Happiness Ramen's rib! Winner! I like this more than their Champon Ramen, which isn't extraordinary tasting.
Their ramen is best paired with REALLY HUGE prawn tempura! The chicken karaage, on the other hand, is a little dry. Another interesting dish is the Drunk Man Rice bowl, which is said to be best eaten to nurse a hangover, and I like it because of its nice spicy kick, plus it's really Instagram-worthy. We also tried the Arakawa Abura Soba - flavorful, but a little too salty.
Lastly, I was heartbroken to learn that they don't do takeouts for their iced green tea! One glass isn't enough! It's very refreshing!
Overall, I still want to go back, especially for the green tea. However, I believe that Ippudo is still the best when it comes to ramen, :D
