Cool concept, but too expensive.

I went here with my girlfriend, both of us had very high expectations.
She had an ice cream sandwich with chewy chocolate cookies and chocolate ice cream.
I had the black & tan from the farmacy after dark menu items.
Honestly, the ice cream was not bad. But my order felt like something that I could make at home. Just guiness and some vanilla ice cream.
But it was too expensive at 420.
The ice cream sandwich was also expensive at 225, considering the amount of ice cream and the low quality of the cookie. [It wasn't chewy, it was tough and hard to eat.] I could buy a better ice cream burger and still have change from another ice cream place!
it was too bad that the food didnt deliver because I really liked the concept of the place. They really pulled it off with the look.
Service was okay too.
I would be willing to spend a little cash for some food if I felt that I was getting what I paid for, but I really considered this to be very expensive and not worth it.
I guess if you really like the idea of an old style soda fountain then you should try it. I dont know, maybe I missed out on the good stuff. Please let me know if I did.
