Tomahawk Chops & Grill
Steak Restaurants Pasig, Pasig
4.0
Chili cheese fries, chops, wings and, of course, grilled meats are available for grabs at this unique restaurant. Tomahawk is a place for hot off-the-grill ribs, freshly cooked buffalo wings and crispy onion rings. Perfect for a night cap, family night, steak night or just any night and if you’re having that on the spot drinking session, Tomahawk serves beer as well.

Tomahawk, a Texan chops resto, is a relatively new addition to the string of restos in the popular foodie street in Kapitolyo. It seemed small from the outside, but kind of like the TARDIS, it’s bigger on the inside. (Any Doctor Who fans?) The place was not the only thing that was big. Their servings are HUGE, but you can’t expect anything less from an American-style establishment. Given their prices and the quality of food, the value for money is high.
One of the things we got was the classic Grilled Tomahawk Chops (PHP 295), and I was mindblown by how tender it was! The porkloin just melts in your mouth and their homemade BBQ sauce puts the finishing touch.
We also tried two of some new additions. The first was the Chicharon-Crusted Tomahawk Chops (PHP 325). It sounded so sinful, and it tasted as much, but it was totally worth it. Yum! The second was the Country Fried Steak (PHP 295), which is breaded and served with milk gravy. It pales a bit in comparison with the first two dishes, but I guess it depends on your preference.
Apart from the good food, Tomahawk also has great service, and reacts to negative scenarios appropriately. Just as I was about to finish my meal, I noticed a fly was already in my mashed potato and a second one had landed. I immediately reported this to the server and, a few minutes later, he came back with a complimentary dessert: B.A.M. (Brownie Ala Mode) (PHP 145). On top of that, my meal was removed from the bill.
