Locavore is a Filipino-Spanish restaurant with a modern twist. It is a must try in Kapitolyo.
We ordered their sizzling sinigang, dinuguang lechon and oyster sisig. One order of rice was not enough since the “ulam” were really tasty. I personally loved the dinuguang lechon, the cherry tomatoes combined with their flavorsome sauce gave it that odd but satisfying taste that you would surely like.
For dessert I had the torta manga which was a mango cake with merengue, tablea bits and dulce de leche. It was really yummy!
It is a little pricey but since the food is really delicious, I am not complaining.
The location is a bit secluded from the main Kapitolyo strip but I think that it is an advantage since there are more parking spots available.
They have a lot of servers so they are able to accommodate their visitors well.
It is always busy, people line up just to eat there. They accept reservations so it might be wise to call to book a table first.
