This place probably offers the best gyoza in the metro. I've tried lots of other restaurants that offers gyoza but Osaka Ohsho just takes the uhhh cake? Haha. Also, we tried their pork cutlet and it is so good! A few more visits and I'll forget about Omakase haha if only they have sushi offerings.

Weird ramen.

Their ramen is totally different from famous ramen restaurants like Ramen Nagi and Ippudo. It's like a Filipino-style ramen. You have to forget everything you know about ramen if you want to appreciate their offerings. I can't recommend it to anyone looking for a ramen fix. Their gyoza, however, is at least better than their ramen.

I would not come back to this restaurant if I'm craving for a bowl of ramen.

Kabab in the wee hours

This branch of Mister Kabab, a restaurant that serves Middle Eastern food, is open for 24 hours. Forgo your usual fast food choice (unless you're really craving for fries lol) and pay this place a visit.

We always go for their Sizzling Keema, a plate of sizzling ground beef with chili and tomato, and Special Chelo Kabab, the national dish of Iran. Both are so, so good that I never actually ordered anything else everytime we visit haha. Their Yogurt Shake is pretty good as well.

The place looks really good, too. Rumour has it that their furnitures were imported from the Middle East, too. I only visit Mister Kabab in the wee hours so I don't know how it looks like in daylight, but it's really inviting in the night. Lots of people go to this place, but I'm yet to experiencr a full house.

Really good Kabab. Pay a visit :)

Their yogurt is really nice! The staff is very helpful as well. They can give you free samples of the different flavors of their yogurt, so you can decide which one to get. There are lots of toppings as well

Single Origin is, by far, the nicest cafe that I have ever visited. I would love to go back to try their brunch offerings - and of course everything else - as the items on their menu are really attractive.

For our first visit, we went for their Sausage Platter. It consisted of Hungarian, Kielbasa, and Smokey Cheesy Bavarian sausages, which are all very good. The sausages came along with truffle chips - which are very interesting as they are not your usual chips - and grainy mustard. The platter can be shared by two people.

For our dessert, we ordered Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast. The only dessert toast that I have tried before are those served in Cafe Shibuya. Comparing Single Origin's toast with Cafe Shibuya's, I would say that, in terms of the toast itself, Single Origin wins. The toast is so fluffy and heavy. As for the toppings, I think it's a tie. Cafe Shibuya's dessert toasts are really good, and so is this toast from Single Origin. What I loved is the consistency of the taste of the strawberry slices on the toast.

People say that there is always room for dessert, but you really have to make room for this toast as a single person can find it hard to finish it alone.

For our drinks, we went for their iced tea. We don't normally go for drinks as they are usually pricey, but this time we made an exception - we still went for the cheaper choices, though lol. We ordered Crimsonberry, a concoction of elderberries, cranberries, hibiscus, rooibus, and rosehips. We also tried their Passion berry black, a glass of North Indian black tea garnished with Egyptian calendula petals and cornflowers. The former, at least according to my companion, is curious. The latter, on the other hand, is really good. I would get a second glass, if I'm not already full.

All in all, our first experience is Single Origin is fantastic. Would love to go back.

They have good ramen here, but I still prefer Ramen Nagi. Their advantage over Ramen Nagi is their extensive menu. They have lots of side dishes and desserts. However, Ramen Nagi recently increased the number of items on their menu.

I would only go to Ippudo for their Pork Buns. It's very delicious!

I ordered Curry Tan Tan Mien and found it okay. It didn't feel special, though. Maybe I should've went for their Signature Happiness Ramen, their best-seller. Their gyoza is so-so, too.

Their best point is the place itself. The interior is really, really nice

I'm not so sure if I will go back here, seeing that I already have my #1 ramen place (Ramen Nagi)

I never really fell for katsu because my experience in Yabu is not very remarkable. However, Kimukatsu is miles better than Yabu, at least for me. They have specialty katsu aside from the normal katsu. Their cabbage and miso soup are also very, very good.

I love this place! Will definitely go back here. It's a perfect place to have a night out.

Their whisky selection is very extensive (if you'll take my word for it as liquors in general is not really my area). From what I can tell, they have regular and premium whiskies. I'm not sure how helpful their menu is but there are lots of information written in there. You can also ask their baristas for help as they are very accomodating. A barista recommended that I take a whisky "clean", with water on the side, since I was a beginner. My companion had his on the rocks. I should've went for that instead haha.

Looking forward to my next visit here.

I tried their Miso Ramen and I think it's quite okay. I'm not really an expert when it comes to ramen so I don't know how each kind of ramen is supposed to taste like, but I think their Miso Ramen is okay. However, I don't see myself going back for it. The pork is delicious, though.

Maybe I'll give it another try, since their ramen is quite cheap. I still prefer Ramen Nagi.

My first visit in St. Marc Café was not really impressive. I was disappointed with what we ordered (I forgot what, tho), so I was kind of hesitant to give it another try. But give it another try, I did.

We went for their Strawberry milk and it was so good. We liked the balance between the soft ice cream, the shaved ice, and the chunks of strawberries in it.

They have lots of non-dessert items on their menu as well. We might try them soon, too.

This small ramen restaurant is a gem. I love their setup. Half of the seats are situated so that you can see how they prepare your food, which is really cool.

Ordering your food here is also done differently. First, you go to the cashier to place your order. You will be given an order slip and a guest number if the place is full (which is often, so I've heard. We went on a Sunday afternoon so we were able to immediately get AND choose our seats). Once seated, a staff inside the cooking area will ask for your order slip and proceed to prepare your food. It didn't take a long time for us to get our food.

As for the food, we went for their Shoyo and Tantanmen ramens which are both very, very delicious. We also ordered their gyoza and it's probably the best gyoza that I have ever had.

I never thought I would love another ramen restaurant other than Ramen Nagi - I still believe it's my favorite ramen place - but Mendokoro Ramenba is undoubtedly worth the find.

Their dishes are divided into two categories: classic (which is self-explanatory) and twists (dishes that have, well, twists on them. Dishes are offered in small (good for one person), medium (three persons) and large (five persons).

We went for their House Crispy Sisig, a classic and is my favorite. We also ordered Sinigang na Beef Short Rib & Watermelon, one of their twists. I would recommend giving this dish a try. We also ordered Laing and Garlic Rice. Their Ube-Sago is also very good.

We always go here if we think we deserve a treat. The food is just always excellent. I recommend always giving their limited ramen offerings a go, but if you want to be sure, just select from their regular ramen. Currently, they serve desserts for a limited time. We tried their strawberry shortcake and their nagi vanilla ice cream. The ice cream has a surprise in store for you, so try it if you pay them a visit.

I've always been fascinated with Cafe Shibuya. The place is very appealing and their service is really good, too. As for the food, their toasts are amazing and their pasta dishes as well. From the last time that I visited, they have added lots of items on their menu. Now, they also have rice meals, too. I still opted for their trademark Mentaiko pasta - which is so, so rich in flavor - and a Triple Dark Chocolate Ghirardelli frappe.. For the dessert toast, we went for the Strawberry and Chocolate, but I still think their Banoffee and Original Shibuya Honey toasts are the best.
