Kawasaki restaurant serves everything authentic. They describe their place as a nostalgic tavern, from its wallpaper with a handwritten drink liquor, down to its aroma once you enter the place. They offer huge menu and variety of Japanese dishes from sashimis, sushi rolls, vegetable gyoza, smelt, seaweed salad, Kawasaki roll, and more.

Maybe not so many people know about this restaurant, Kawasaki. It is located along Santillan St. near Chino Roces Ave., Little Tokyo. At here, you can feel Japan. When I go there, lots of Japanese were there and the menu on the board was written in English. TV was Japanese one.
For dishes, they offer like Japanese Izakaya, and lots of good menu was there. Wagyu liver sashimi, smelt, natto, etc. Taste of them were really Japanese. We drank 6 bottles of beer, and we ate a lot but it was less than 2,000php. Less than 1,000php/person, very cost effective!! Try here!!

Kawasaki has an authentic atmosphere of Japanese Izakaya. I ordered some general drinks and foods in Izakaya and all of them were authentic Japanese taste (very tasty!!). For prices, drinks are around 200peso and foods are around 300peso, so here is affordable restaurant. I advice you to make a reservation or call the restaurant to check available seats because they have only 20 seats and it was really crowded when I visited.

Yes, they serve some whine, Japanese whisky, cocktail, Japanese sake and Japanese shochu (distilled from sweet potatoes, rice, buckwheat, etc). you can order these drinks as a cup or a bottle. here is Japanese Izakaya, so sake and shochu are better than wine and cocktail.
