A friend celebrated his birthday there and we were treated to a sumptuous dinner consisting of Hainanese Chicken, Ribeye Paella, Butter Garlic shrimp, and Shrimp Balsamic pasta, and the perfectly-done Porterhouse steak. As our birthday gift, we bought a full-rack BBQ Ribs complete with candles. The service staff was so efficient that they kept on checking with us what we wanted. They even sang a birthday song for my friend. The place may be difficult to spot for first-timers, but it's basically behind Greenhills!

The three of us ordered sisig, adobo rice, and carbonara mac and cheese. Don't be fooled by their appearance: the food may come in small plates but they are really filling. The aligue (crab fat) on the sisig makes it extra yummy, and the adobo rice was just perfect. Gulaman? Spot on! The carbonara mac and cheese, however, may be a bit overbearing on your palate. The service was awesome; you get to be attended to by their courteous waiters with a touch of a button.

I have no idea about Latin America street food, and I'm surprised to see rice-based items on the menu. I ordered pollo in pequeño (small serving). Price is at 205, but you can have it upgraded to regular size by adding P60. The chicken was freshly-cooked and the side salad was tangy. However, I don't see myself frequenting Brazas, since it's out of my price range.

I used to work in Mandaluyong, and we usually frequent this place if we wanted to eat breakfast food at lunch time. It's pretty easy to go to and it's located away from the crowd. For big eaters who wanted a bang for their buck, this may not be the perfect option because the serving's not that huge. The longganisa's authentic, tho. :)

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 6th monthsary by eating out. As a crab-and-shrimp guy, he was inclined to go with the crab dishes. However, after finding out that the crab is P180/100 grams and that a single crab can weight up to 800grams, we scratched that out.

One great thing about Seafood Island is their boodle menu. This allows a group of 3-4 people, or 5-7 people, to enjoy seafood at its best. The options are named under famous Philippine festivals/provinces/tourist spots. We tried the Dagupan's pride (P799 for 3-4 persons), and after 10 minutes we were presented with a huuuuuge pool of rice and seafood. The meal is hot and the seafood is cooked nicely, and they threw in a couple of vegetables to keep your blood pressure down. :)

We had to ask the staff to bag a part of the meal because the meal can really serve 3-4people. You also had the option of eating with utensils OR with your hands (I highly recommend this).

Anyway, if you're into seafood and Filipino food and a great (boodle) fight, then this is the place to be.

My boyfriend and I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Donburi and Gomoku Ramen.

Plus:
- They picked a nice spot within the mall! Who would've thought that Pantranco looked so romantic on a rainy morning?
- We were there early, and we're the only ones around so we we're waited really well.
- They have hot and cold house tea! Not a fan of tea, though, so I'm not sure if it tastes good
- Big servings. There are other restaurants that can serve slightly bigger portions but these ain't bad
- Sulit!

Minus:
- It's not aesthetically attractive as other restos. It's got a nice view, but the service tables are right in front of the main door.
- Expensive gyozas (200)
- Food was good, but there's no "wow factor" here

I'd still go back, though.

So my boyfriend and I hung out at My Thai last month. Yep, you read it right. We're at My Thai, but upon sitting down we were given three menus: My Thai, Pho Hoa, and Jack's Loft. Apparently, either these three are owned by the same group or these are three separate restos franchised by one person. Anyway, we ordered fries and iced tea... served in a fish bowl/jar! It's really good, by the way. Legit house blend iced tea! The fries were OK. We also ordered spring rolls which are really nice. Their service needed improvement, though. Just because we're seated at the corner doesn't mean that we'll be served last.

I'd still go back soon. I heard the noodles are a must-try!

This is a good place to unwind and eat chicken wrap with a cold bottle of beer.

We went there on a Tuesday night and the place is not crowded. However, I was told that it gets really packed during the weekends. It is conveniently located in The Collective, which is very accessible for patrons who are coming from either the North and South parts of the metro.

We ordered Chicken wrap, Beef wrap, Hummus, and fries. The fries had a nice kick to it because of the paprika. The wraps are nicely done; they're warm and the meat is juicy. The mayo sauce compliments the food well; it's not overpowering or too garlic-ky.

I found out that Hummus may be too sour for people who are not used to it. My friends say that it's good, though.

We decided to visit Love Desserts during lunch time and we felt that we got more than our money's worth. They have cakes and pastries such as brownies and mini cupcakes. Filipino dessert staples such as halo halo, leche flan, and fruit salad, are also present. Try the Mango Panna Cotta; it's heavenly!

However, there are three things that I loved about Love Desserts: the beverages (shakes, milk tea, and iced tea) are also bottomless, the crepes are light and fluffy (and they do add syrup decorations, too), and they bothered to include items to clear the palate (watermelon, singkamas at bagoong, and lumpia wrapper nachos).

For 199 pesos, Love Desserts can actually satisfy your sweet tooth. It's definitely worth going back to.

We ordered Chicken Wings and flatbread, and it's really great. Some may find it a bit salty, but you can wash down the salt with your choice of beer (they have a lot to choose from!). Are you not into alcoholic drinks? They have bottomless lemonade! While waiting, you can also play with friends and other diners through an interactive game. For those who have brave hearts (and mouth), you may try their Blazing Challenge! Finish 12 hot (as in literally hot/freshly cooked) and super spicy wings in 6 minutes or less, and receive a tshirt and bragging rights!

The food tastes great! Try the chips and chicken strips... You'll surely want rice with that. The booze is reasonably priced at P55/bottle (Tanduay Ice). If you're looking for a great place to have fun and possibly meet new drinking buddies, then this place is it! However, it gets pretty packed during weekend nights and paydays so you better get in early.
