SM Megamall branch offers a lot of choices, especially when it comes to dessert so I took my sweet time in enjoying the food that they offer.
I recommend their sashimi, as it is the least bloating way to get your money's worth. Their menchi katsu was surprisingly good, too! They also have lots of fruits and salad. But my favorite is definitely their frozen yoghurt, or takoyaki, or bacon wraps, or I don't know, I can't choose!!!
This is perfect for big groups and birthday celebrations. Or if you just want to try out lots of Japanese and Korean food in one go, or just hungry as hell (like me).

It's best to go here with more people I guess. The onion rings and pizza were too oily for me. I wish we could've ordered salad or dessert but there were only two of us so it would have been costly.

I really love their flavors and dips. Unfortunately, it's a bit pricy for its kind so they find difficulty in having customers. I wish I could eat here more often. It's really tasty and healhty!

If you like reading books while drinking authentic coffee, then this is the perfect place. The food is not that special and expensive, so I recommend their drinks instead. I enjoyed reading their magazines while comfortably sitting in the soft couch. It's just across the private school along Maginhawa so it's very accessible. Worth a shot!

I tried to look for this cafe after reading about it somewhere online. The place is really small, it can probably accommodate up to 15 people at a time. It has poor aiconditioning, too.
We tried their Baked Rice meals, mine was Mushroom, while my friend's was Adobo Flakes. Adobo Flakes Rice tasted good. The cheese was really flavorful, but the serving was just too small for its price (150-160 pesos). Mushroom Rice had such a weird aftertaste so I ordered Caramel Macchiato for 65 Pesos. It had a cute design.
There are also some books, wifi, and outlet, so if you want to go to a secluded place to study, I suggest that you visit this place and order their drinks.

I was a bit adventurous one night and decided to try out this place near Maginhawa. It's in the same building as J.Cool and Iscecreamist (they already transferred).
I was a bit reluctant to come in at first since there were no customers even though it was 7 in the evening. I felt ashamed to leave after entering the place so I just decided to order the cheapest one on their menu which is the Adobo Rice Bowl.
To my surprise, the food looked and tasted good! I will definitely be back to try their other dishes. I hope more people try out this place so they don't run out of business. :( They really have budget-friendly meals so it's definitely worth the try.

I've always wanted to try these out and was lucky to eat in Octoboy. It's a good find. Service was a bit slow but the food is good. Their chicken yakiudon, beef okonomiyaki and cheese & bacon takoyaki are the best for me.

It's black or white ? Been a while my old friend, I missed you so so much. Tried out Chocolate and Cheesecake this time, and they were both very sweet (good sweet) ? Note to self, don't try this diabetic combination next time though.
They weren't dancing nor doing their flashy moves behind the counter (a bit of a let down). But one staff was still very enthusiastic in getting our orders, and entertaining our questions.
If you doubt which flavors would be good, feel free to ask their staff for a free taste. They are very very friendly! Love 'it!
You can also try more than one flavor in their bigger sizes, unless you try out their signature flavors. Mu friend ordered the Coffee one and it tasted superb with the nuts and whatnots.

Loved their Menchi Curry Katsu!!! Everything is refillable, and the serving was so big. I really wonder how Japanese people stay fit with these hefty servings and delectable choices. I also tried their Potato and Chicken Salad as appetizers, and they taste good! I also had lemonade, which was surprisingly refillable as well. Definitely a go-to comfort place for the weary, and the hungry.

My favorite place in Maginhawa is definitely The Coffee Way, which just came back from a 6-month hiatus due to some incident. TCW offers good, healthy, and pretty unique food such as Kimchi Chicken, Pesto Chicken Fingers, and Ground Chicken for 95PHP. This includes 2 cups of rice for those who love heavy dinners like me.
You can also enjoy their bubble drinks for 45 pesos (small), and 55 pesos (large). I think this is a lot cheaper than other stores! They also have a pitcher of Iced Tea (75pesos) which is good for sharing.
After eating, you can hangout and play some casual games such as Monopoly, UNO, chess, Word Factory, etc. or just surf the internet. Don't worry because you'll never have to run out of battery since charging is for free.
It may not be the most spacious place...BUT WAIT! It is! With the 2nd Floor (formerly The Blue Room, a studio) now open for customers, Coffee Way is more and more accessible to students, and even young professionals who want to hangout during dinner time.
Just wait a bit for the food! Anyway, you have the games, and the books to provide you some entertainment while you wait. Try this place but don't take my spot! (jk!)

Just in front of Il Terrazzo, Nomnomnom was really easy to find! Their shop may be small, but their servings are hefty! I tried their Wild Mushroom Pasta, and contrary to its name, its taste was fairly mild, and not to mention creamy.
Thank you so much for letting us in even if we came 10 minutes before opening time! I'll be back for more nomnomnom sessions.

I ordered Chicken Parmigiana (170PHP), which is basically pesto with chicken. It was served in a hefty size, with lots of cheese (love it!). There was also a fist-sized chicken fillet with tomato paste and melted cheese. What sets this dish apart is its creaminess! Try it!!!
Both my eyes and my tummy were really full after dining here. Artsy Cafe is definitely artsy fartsy. --> (like if you get it) haha
