Their dishes taste like home. I think this is their selling point. I've tried many if their dishes but my favorites are:

Pinoy Caprese for the salad
Sinigang na Salmon Belly and rice for the main course
Ensaymada and Tsokolate de Batirol for dessert!

We also take some of our Japanese guests here esp. those who want to try Filipino food. They also serve sizzling balut!

For dinner with our Japanese coworkers, we decided to go to UP Town for a slight change in scenery (kaumay T. Morato lol).

We ordered a lot and everything was delicious but what stood out was their burger. I don't have pictures of the burgers we ordered because they were gone in a matter of seconds! We had to order 2 more because it's that goood! I ordered the sriracha salad again, still my favorite!

The lapu-lapu was my least favorite dish although our JP guests loved it. We also tried their butterbeer but 90% of our group didn't like it. I

We weren't really hungry when we went to Relish so I can't say much about their food. We only ordered the paté to go with our mojitos. Both orders were good! The service was great though!

They also have a small room at the back for social events if you intend to go there as a big group, that would be a great choice.

We tried their lunch set which comes with either a soup or salad. I decided to have soup to go with my grilled prawns. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes!

The place was packed and most of the diners were professionals. The dining room on the 2nd floor is spacious and quiet.

It was a cold and rainy evening so I was cravigg for something hot and spicy. Their Sunduboo jjigae was the perfect choice! Comparing to when they first opened 2-3 years ago, I could say that their service has generally improved and I think their pricing is much more reasonable now.

Their grilled salmon with capers and lemon was cooked and seasoned well but the rice was very dry. I noticed that they added new drinks on their menu so I decided to try the Basil Calamansi Shake, however, the calamansi overpowered the whole thing. I could barely taste the basil.

I.cannot.even!

My friend and I were around the area and decided to stuff our faces with fried chicken. We went to their original branch in Binondo but unfortunately, they were closed for the day. It was a Sunday.

Good thing they have a branch in Lucky Chinatown Mall. We ordered 1 whole chicken. No regrets, because it was really, really good. I still think about their fried chicken, it haunts me.. lol

Chicken was great but service was a little off. Their wait staff were 'weird', for lack of a better term. They weren't rude, just weird. Still, that didn't ruin our appetite so it's all good.

They also have a branch in Robinson's Magnolia for those who are unable to go as far as Binondo.

Taste it to believe it! Haha

This is a must-try!

When I moved to QC in 2010, I had to do the obligatory Maginhawa food tour and Sancho's easily became one of my favorite places in Maginhawa.

I dropped by since I was craving for their potato salad, only to find that the place isn't as cheerful as it used to be. Lighting was different and water was leaking from some parts the ceiling. Basically, I think the place has not been properly looked after.

The potato salad still tasted as good as it did 5 years ago, although presentation was a bit off, they increased their serving size. I also ordered the pesto but it was a little bland. I was supposed to order Churros but the leaks and messy floor (because of the leaks) were a bit unappetizing :(

The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated so this would be a great place for lunch/dinner meetings. Most orders are good for sharing so not the best place for solo eaters like myself. Good thing I had Paul and ShioG to share dinner with. :)

We tried a fee dumplings, asian-style fried chicken, beef noodle soup, yangchow fried rice, and stir fried string beans w/ mushrooms (my personal favorite!)

I liked the fried rice as well but the chicken was too salty for my taste, the dumplings - I could eat better-tasting ones for the same or cheaper price at other restos. The beef noodle soup was also a bit salty but it was slightly redeemed by the generous servings of beef cubes lol

Overall, I had a filling meal w/ good friends. However, I probably would not visit anytime soon.

I went there with a friend and being the Titas that we already are, we were looking for a quiet place in UP town. I already came across many online posts about the place so we decided to give it a try.

Although we appreciate the youthful atmosphere, the noise was unbearable at some point (only because we were in our Tita mode). The manager was kind enough to transfer us to a booth away from the all the noise. We do understand that it's supposed to be a hangout for younger crowds so if you are looking for some peace and quiet, I would not recommend this place. But if you're in the mood for some lively chatter while having dinner, then this place is definitely a must-try!

For starters, we had the Fried Chicken Sriracha Salad. I absolutely love this! The spicy Sriracha kick complemented the fresh veggies and quail eggs. I'm a Sriracha fan, btw.

For the main dish, we had Grilled Cheese w/ Pulled Pork and Nose-to-Tail Fettucini. They use fresh cheese so it felt very light and for the pasta, they use homemad pasta!

We paired everything with some Pale pilsens. Overall, it was a nice gastronomic experience.

Sure na!

Food was great! I really enjoyed their Dinuguan and Daing na Bangus. Their Sinigang na Hipon tasted so-so but compared to other Filipino restaurants, they are more generous with their servings of shrimp. Two other tables were occuppied when we visited but service was still a bit slow.

Servings are good for 2-3 pax but they also have set meals for single orders.

They also served super duper ice cold beer! :)

They serve imported beers at an affordable price and their Cable Car Pizza goes really well with beer! The place can get a bit crowded on Fridays and weekends though, especially the beer pong room.
