We must have been here over a dozen times. Ramen is my partner's comfort food, but not just any ramen. It had to be Ramen Nagi's Red King (PHP 410). The thing about Ramen Nagi is that you can customize everything, from the level of spiciness to the hardness of the noodle. They give you a form to fill out, which is a pretty efficient method. My partner always goes for the Red King with Spiciness Level 3. However, this time, he did Spiciness Level 10 without breaking a sweat. Achievement unlocked!
Another thing I like about Ramen Nagi is the unique soup flavors. My personal favorite is the Black King (PHP 410) because I love everything squid ink. However, that might just change. The Red King tasted a lot like lobster bisque, and like lobster bisque, it had that savory aftertaste.
For dessert, we had the Nagi Vanilla Ice Cream (PHP 150). It had two mini pipettes filled with white rum and probably Bailey's. Sprinkled atop the ice cream were cracker bits to add some texture, which tasted a lot like SkyFlakes. Even if it was SkyFlakes, it didn't matter, because it was surprisingly good. Who knew something so simple and mundane could create something totally new? It was a show of resourcefulness. All in all, amazing!
