We ordered many items; porterhouse steak, hainanese chicken, fried hainanese chicken, butter garlic shrimp, shrimp balsamic pasta, bbq ribs, and ribeye paella. All of the food was pretty good! But what I enjoyed most was the steak! The steak was very good, the serving size was big and I thought a real bargain. Most good steak cost much more. The service was also very good, the food came out very fast and the waiters were very attentive. The place is also good enough for a date. I really enjoyed my experience here. I highly recommend Hai Chix GH, especially for steak!

A friend celebrated his birthday there and we were treated to a sumptuous dinner consisting of Hainanese Chicken, Ribeye Paella, Butter Garlic shrimp, and Shrimp Balsamic pasta, and the perfectly-done Porterhouse steak. As our birthday gift, we bought a full-rack BBQ Ribs complete with candles. The service staff was so efficient that they kept on checking with us what we wanted. They even sang a birthday song for my friend. The place may be difficult to spot for first-timers, but it's basically behind Greenhills!

This will be my first time to visit this place. It was great that they have several parking spaces, as this is important to customers. The ambiance was really nice, homey and inviting. We went there as a group to celebrate three birthdays! We ordered beer and food. Oh man!!! The steaks were great! The shrimps were tasty! The pasta, the chicken, and the paella were all cloud 9! I must admit, Hai Chix & Steaks might have one of the most mismatched cuisine tandems out there but they execute their dishes pretty darn well! They serve traditional Hainanese chicken dishes and steaks! Their Hainanese Chicken (traditional preparation and fried) can outmatch other Hainanese chicken rice dishes in single a bout, mortal combat! Consistent taste regardless of size, great serving portions for the price, coupled with veggies that are freshly prepared. You should definitely try their porterhouse steak! It is a plate sized slab of meat, cooked medium rare, and topped with its own trimmings of crispy fried fat. Simple, flavorful, and very affordable for its size.
