I thought they served ordinary shakes until I saw their menu. They served 18+ shakes with a shot of Kahlua. On top of the shakes, you can choose your preferred dessert such as popcorn, cotton candy or toasted marshmallow. I really liked the idea of adding a hint of alcohol to their 18+ shakes, it tastes good!

I'm not sure if I can call it a burger because there's no bun. The burger patty and cheese were wrapped in a lot of lettuce leaves. It was a new experience! I wish they had bigger servings.

I go here for lunch or dinner most of the time whenever I do my laundry near this place. Their grilled brocolli, baby potatoes and grilled pork steak are my most favorite parts of the set. The prices are also relatively affordable. Average price (rice + veggies + meat) : ~P100

Man, I loved them when they we're near the office! They were in front of ABSCBN. They closed for a couple of months before they transferred to Teachers Village. (Lagi kumakain si Noah dito para magpa-goodshot dun sa owner sa chicks)

Went here for a snack. I ordered their Sirloin Burger. It tastes like the usual grilled burger, although I noticed that it's not very oily. I also was able to taste their ice cream. They have a lot of flavors, but you have to ask if the flavor is available.
Average price: P200 for their burgers
Bonus: You can taste the ice cream before ordering
Caveat: They could improve their service on a busy time. I had to occasionally remind the server about our order and the bill.

Went here for lunch with my friends. We ate here a couple of times already. They serve a generous serving of delicious breakfast plates / bowls. It lives up to its name "Just Like Home" because you will really feel at home. Some of their chairs are couches where you can sit to enjoy your meal. So far, I was not disappointed with my meals. Although this is a breakfast place (based on the designs), they also serve pasta and dessert. I ate Meatloaf surprise the last time I went here.
Average price: 280 (for breakfast meal only, although they have sharing plates)
Bonus: After the meal, they give fortune cookies and possibly a free food coupon for you next visit. Also, WiFi!

We went here after dinner for dessert. I ordered Choco Fudge cake and lucky enough to try Really Quezo Cheese cake. I liked them both! Their serving is just enough for me. They also serve coffee and other food. I haven't tried their coffee yet, which I would like to try the next time I come here because according to my friend, the coffee tastes nice.

I've been to other branches of Kimono Ken. Their food almost taste authentic Japanese. When I went here, I was able t try their Negi Ramen, Gyoza and Agedashi Tofu. I liked the Agedashi Tofu because its a bit sweet. The only thing that was a bit off with the place was the lighting. I find it too dark when we went here for dinner. Other than that, Japanese food craving: satisfied!
Average price: One serving is around P300, but if you want to order more (which is more likely) it will be over 500.

One of the most creative coffee shops I've been to. When we went here, we ordered Maryland Omelet, Bacon & Mushroom Pasta, Piccolo Latte and a Flat White coffee. I specifically like their all-day breakfast since they serve two eggs and a hash brown. If you decide to order here, you will never go wrong with their all-day breakfast. Aside from a good breakfast meal, they also have what they call Brew Bar in their menu which is something interesting. I've never tried it but I've seen it being served to another customer. They handed that customer a "weapon of choice" which will be used for brewing the coffee and the selected beans of the coffee that you want to drink. I'd definitely want to try that when I get back.

Bonus: They have wall sockets. Some people also stay here to study.

We ordered Pulled Pork Belly Rice and Waffle-breaded Chicken with Toast (but you can also opt to have rice with this instead). The food was okay for me. If you want to try something new, you should definitely try here. This is more of a barkada place. The food I ate was a bit bland though because I like salty-tasting food so I added ketchup. Since this is Kitchen + Brew, of course they serve alcoholic drinks. Last time I went here, I ordered Salted Caramel Backyard Flavored Beer. It tasted sweet and I liked it!

Bonus: Comfortable seats and nice atmosphere! Especially at night, good place for drinking at the top floor overlooking UP Town Center grounds.

Here's another nice place to get things done. One thing that set's them apart from other coffee shops near Katipunan is their signature Affogato and Gelato. I haven't tried it but my friend tells me that they taste good. I tried their Hot Chocolate and I was surprised to see it served in a fancy cup. But it's not only presentation because the drink itself is very tasty. They also serve pasta if you want something heavy.

This place offers a wide variety of food made with healthy ingredients. We ate Spicy Tuna Quinoa Rolls and Beef Salpicao when we went there this month. Meal prices start at P250 while drinks are at least ~P150. This might seem a bit expensive but if you look into the ingredients, it's justified by the nutritional facts. I'm not sure if this would count as a date place but it definitely is a good place for those who are diet-conscious.
Bonus: The restaurant is inspired by running. So if you are familiar with the no-nonsense food that are suggested for serious runners, you might find it here.
